Before I provide a few additional tips and resources regarding sensory impairments, I wanted to say that all of the people who live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and surrounding areas are in my thoughts. I hope this blog finds you in a safe location, far from Ike.
Okay, now onto some tips and thoughts regarding sensory impairments:
First, I wanted to share links to a few short, online video clips about sensory impairments.
I want to introduce these videos by stating that they are not the opinion of or endorsed by CEC. Also, I would like to say that upon the 'copy and paste' phase of these links, each link was correct, and the corresponding video was the correct video clip. Finally, I would like to say that the individuals and information presented in the clips represent the opinions and beliefs of the individuals who created the clips, and to remind viewers that all disabilities, including sensory impairments, encompass a wide RANGE of ability. A single video IS NOT a demonstration of the full spectrum of challenges that individuals with sensory impairments experience.
