Wow! This is a great topic because I have never come to reality that the warm-up and distractions are taking up my entire class time. Another issue I am trying to deal with and am unsure how is in my study skills class. I want to be that teacher a student can trust but after a month of it I see now how the students are taking advantage of me. They truly are the best manipulators on the planet! Then they want to ask me about EVERYTHING they can about any topic they can to get me off task. How do I get them to really stop doing it?
