The thought of being made comfortable gives him strength to endure his pain.

Being a teacher with parents that don’t seem to support the students’ education is difficult and challenging. As an educator we have to keep trying to educate the students and mentor the students as best as we can. We cannot make the parents care or force them into supporting their children. We have to be available and give the resources out to the parents and keep informing the parents. From my experience, writing notes home or emailing the parents of things to work on seems to get done, but when I call the parents don’t seem to answer or work on the goals. I understand that parenting is difficult, but as parents you still need to be involved in your child’s life and education.
